Drug Treatment

Drug treatment is used in the long-term treatment of obesity not used for a short time. If patient does not lose weight within 4 weeks of treatment, the drug is discontinued. In the first 6 months of treatment, the weight gain becomes faster and then slows down. The drug is given in terms of the condition of the obese patient.

The patient who has a high appetite is given drugs that decrease the appetite and the patient who eats less, actives less and the drugs accelerating the metabolism are given. For those who have an active sports life, drugs that accelerate the burning of fats and convert them into energy are used.
